I checked my status this morning and it read........... "Application Completed - license issued or certificate active" See my signature for the time line. Im actually impresses by the speed at which they completed it. Whats the time line until they mail it?

Did yours change from Packet mailed to anything else, or just directly to complete?

Wow! 22 days! That is excellent. I hope I'm as fortunate. That would put mine on April 20th. Heck, anything before the end of April would be great!

Well dang! I just got an email back from DPS and my application hasn't even been entered into the system yet. They said it is "likely going through the processes before entry. When a completed application is entered you will be sent a confirmation letter with your PIN number."

I completed my application online so I have already received my PIN number. I'm surprised that, after 5 working days, they still haven't entered my application into the system. I don't expect it to be complete in 5 days, but I further along in the process would be nice. Hopefully this is the worst of the delay and things go smoothly from here on out.

I am impressed Chadhender was approved that fast.
I sent my fingerprint card with the missing info back to the DPS on 3/25.
I even sent it certified return receipt...And it went Awol in the postal system without even a trace.
Then on Saturday 4/3 the return receipt was in my mailbox.
Man was I sweating that!!
Checked my status that morning and it showed "Processing Application".
So it's my hope this can all be concluded very soon as I am leaving for a weeks vacation on the 17th of this month.
I know I am at least two weeks behind because they received my packet on 3/4 and the letter they sent me about the missing info was dated 3/17.
So after the above mentioned postal system fluke they are just getting started on mine again.

CHL class 3/18, applied to DPS 3/19, PIN received 4/2. "Processing Application." Hurry up already!

Well, at least my Crossbreed showed up before my plastic did.

I'd hate to have the plastic and no holster to carry in.

I guess I am a bit late to join the forum. My anticipation is driving me NUTS! Here is my timeline so far.

2/20/2010 Class taken
3/10/2010 App mailed
3/12/2010 App received
3/24/2010 Pin received

4/7/2010 Processing App

Is it obsessive to check the status every day? My wife is rolling her eyes and laughing at me at this point.

I have the firearm (Kahr MK9 Elite 9mm), three holsters (had to try a few) and now it is just a waiting game to get the license.

You only check it once a day?
I check it, oh, about 6-8 times a day, just in case the status changes LOL
So tell your wife, you are doing good!

By the way, from a lot of the posts recently, they are saying "60 days" but really hitting under 30 days, so you should be up pretty quickly.
I wish you a good and fast status change.
