Wouldn't it be more effective in the middle of the line?

Depends on whether you want to take out just civilians, or civilians AND TSA agents & equipment.

If in a ticket line the middle would be better, but entering the security zone the place for the most mayham would be just before or as you stepped into the booth.

I forgot to consider property damage.

I wish someone would damage those scanners. The TSA didn't purchase maintenance contracts on them, and congress has already blocked additional funding for them. So when a machine dies, it's dead.

I wonder what a massive power surge could do. For academic purposes only.

Academically, sure, but they're probably shielded. Plus, I don't think it's worth the effort. It'll just get you arrested and they'll step up their efforts. Legal means FTW!

The Washington Times says the TSA is at it again... Linky (I think some of the comments might be NSFW)

The last time I flew on a commercial airliner
I got to my hotel and found a notice in my suitcase saying
that it had been examined by tsa

I found my alarm clock broken and my cell phone charger broken

It would have cost more to try to recover damages from Tsa than it :mad5
would cost to buy a new clock and cell phone charger from Target

TSA knows this so they have no reason to respect the property of others
