Some of us will be there a little bit before. Club house on the shotgun side of the range.

My sincerest apologies to Beiruty for not making sure he completely understood where we were going to lunch and losing him in traffic.
Thanks everyone for coming out. I look forward to doing it again. This, our third gathering, was our biggest group to shoot skeet with 9 people. Ya'll are such a cool group of folks!

It was really a blast, my first trial to shoot skeet. So, I need to get the hang of it to better score next time. I was really happy to shoot with you all.
I am in for the next round.

Michael here.
Thanks c-dub for organizing and teaching me the rules of the game. I have been shooting shotgun for a bit (mostly just trap) but have only tried skeet once before and absolutely hated it. It is much more fun with folks like you to instruct.
Drew, good to see you again. Small world.

Thank you very much Michael.
As for the rules, I tried to keep our little informal group as close to the rules as I know them without being the rule nazi. However, I also think you would fare better to look closer to home for insight on the sport of skeet shooting.
Oh, and welcome to the forum!

In order to further handicap my already mediocre skeet shooting skills at any future DFW get togethers I may be fortunate enough to attend, I just picked up this little beauty. Vintage Charles Daly O/U, made by Japanese firearms maker BC Miroku, .410 Ga. 26" Bbl, choked Skeet/Skeet. Now I have a real excuse for missing so many birds
(I misplaced the deer hide I usually use for pictures and had to resort to the attractive pastel patterned thing you see.

)
