Yeah, he absolutely did. Thankfully it seems as though others know there's a difference between that group and others.

The same thing that's always going through it... hot air.

His presentation makes me think he's going to be nothing but laughing stock for all people knowledgeable on open carry.

What I wanted someone to ask Acevedo is "so, you are for CHL holders and yet against campus carry. Tell me, what would happen between the time he was getting a burger at Spanky's and walking across the street to the Texas Tech campus that would make a CHL holder such a menace?" (insert appropriate Austin landmark by UT if needed)

Three cheers for the president of the Texas Sheriff's Association. I called his office and offered my thanks for clearly communicating what anyone ought to know - a law abiding citizen is not a problem. A law abiding citizen with a gun is not a problem.
