Gander Mountain on 290 had cases of .223 and .308. I am not familiar with pricing or good manufacturers for these calibers and apoliogize, I just note they literally had piles of the stuff. If zombie apocalypse breaks out in the next two weeks I'm going there.
There was also about 8 boxes of the 250 round Remington UMCs available at ~$16 for 50 rounds. Higher than pre-freakout but fyi. Quite a few AR-15 style rifles there (picking up a fixed pistol so wandering around). Bushmaster? and some Springfield M1as but the one I saw was $1999-yerp :eek6 .

That seems pretty high I picked up 250 rounds of the same for $59.95 + tax just last night.

Academy in Lewisville had .40 yesterday - both self-defense rounds and fmj.
No 9mm, though.

That is 2 times that I have walked in randomly and been able to pick up .40 there.

:hurry:

Wal-Mart at Collins & Randol Mill had 8 boxes, 9mm, WWB(50count), $11.97/box, limit 2
.40 S&W, 3 boxes, WWB(100's) $27.97/box
2 box's, 7.62x39 (20's) $17.97
Lots of .22 ammo...didn't get the price.

With a 2 box limit, your chances are very good, IMO. I'd stop by anyway, and see, since you're driving by there anyway.

You know the one I'm talking about....it's right across the street from the "mother ship".:

The Academy's at Westheimer and Voss, I-10 and Bunker Hill and 288 & 518 hand plenty of ammo yesterday in everything but .380. Price on WWB .45ACP was $22.95. They also had Remington 110 packs of .45ACP FMJ but I didn't see the price.

There was some .45ACP WWB 100 count boxes at the gun show at GRB for $55.00.

Gander Mtn at 290@Hwy6 had Tons of everything but .45ACP.

However.. THEY DID HAVE .45ACP :woohoo (just not tons of it)

Fiocchi 230gr FMJ's for $29.99 a box. They had like 15 boxes left after I grabbed 4.

* Happily goes and reloads all his empty spare magazines

At 11:30 this morning, the Galveston Wal-Mart (Seawall and 60th or thereabouts, near Rain Forest Cafe, anyway) had about ten 50-round boxes of WWB 9mm at $11.97, plus a box or two (don't remember brand or price) of .40

academy in Tomball had WWB .45ACP--- $22.99 50rd this morning @ 09:00

there were only 3 boxes , and being the nice guy that i am , i only took 2 , leaving one for my fellow shooter .

something new to me was, it had to be walked to the register by an employee .
i've always just carried it myself .

Academy at I45 at Edgebrook has everythng but .380, they even have lots of subsonic 22LR, very hard to find. Usual Academy pricing on everything, just look at this thread for the pricing.

Some Academy's walk it up front, most don't. From what they told me, it depends on the neighborhood.
