I'm afraid I'm not that tech savy but if someone knows how I'd gladly get started on that.
I like your idea. I'm imagining a map with virtual push pins you could click on to reveal the member(s) in that particular city. The map would also have zoom capabilities to make seperating members in high concentration areas, such as DFW, Austin, Houston, etc...) easier.
It would be alot like the Trapster iPhone app anyone is familiar with it.
I'm open to suggestions so feel free to put your two cents in.

Maybe making this a sticky would be a good start too.

I can put this into a Google Map that everyone can look at and post it up here. This is pretty easy to do. What would make it better is if we can get peoples zip codes. This will enable people to zoom to a city like Houston or Dallas and see the distribution within each city.

Can everyone edit their reply's to also have the ZIP?
