That shows how much they value the lives of students, faculty, and staff. Each and every one of them should have to face the voting public being reminded during elections, especially the primary elections where we have a real choice.

It's a decriminalization bill--it provides an exception to §46.03 for CHL holders carrying on college premises, without the prohibition on colleges making their own regulations prohibiting carry. FWIW, Representative (Sid) Miller spoke at our city/schoolboard candidate forum Thursday, and he's pretty much lost confidence in 354 making it to a vote this session, so he was hoping they could gather enough support to get this one through.
