The whole thing is running like on steroids now, at least on my end. I just wish there would be one more feature, I need a typo preventer on top of the spillchecker.
Funny, my version doesn't have a spillchecker.

The site is running slow again and one time I got the "too many connections" error message.

Same for me, and "slow" is an understatement now, as it is taking 30 seconds + to see "unread posts", as well as to get to the "first unread post" in a thread.

Do you mean like this?

General Error
SQL ERROR [ mysql4 ]

Too many connections [1040]

An sql error occurred while fetching this page. Please contact an administrator if this problem persists.

I have gotten several of these today.

Yep, that's the error message. I've gotten it several more times since I first posted. :???:

Ever since the "migration" or whatever change took place, the site's performance has become much less consistent and stable. Not sure what improvements on the back end were gained but it seems to have diminished the user experience some.

Same here, the main page takes about 20- 30 seconds to load and evry subsequent link/ transaction takes about the same 20 - 30 seconds.

Here I was thinking it was the proxy at work(which may still be a factor) in mine running slow and getting errors.

Is there a possibility of DNS attack from an anti-gun hacker? That would slow or shut down the site.
