Seems more like a settlement than a attitude change.

From my understanding, the 30.06 came down. 30.07 still up.Abraham wrote:Gunner4640,
They took down the signs, thus no law to be broken...or, am I missing something?
Thanks!
So, probably left the 30.07 sign up. I agree that they didn't remove it because they saw the issue with it, only to save business. We have read everyone's comments about having a 30.06 sign posted outside of our storefront and it has been taken down. We hope to see everyone soon
So they caved under the pressure, isn't that the point of bringing pressure to bear? Why slap them now for doing the right thing?TVGuy wrote:They posted this on their FB page:

No open carry alowed, they don't want to scare their customers away with these people carrying guns in their store! Also, a safety issue for their employees! They probably believe these things might "go off" on their own!TVGuy wrote:30.07 is still up.warnmar10 wrote:So they caved under the pressure, isn't that the point of bringing pressure to bear? Sure, and I agree it's silly and makes no sense. However, as we all know, .07 is a matter of dress code. All you have to do is cover up and you can walk in and if the need arises you can defend yourself. They demonstrated they are responsive to customer, (and non-customer,) preferences. Try that with Half Price Books or Whole Foods and see where you get.TVGuy wrote:30.07 is still up.warnmar10 wrote:So they caved under the pressure, isn't that the point of bringing pressure to bear? Perhaps they should! Might bring them more business!Abraham wrote:Half Price Books or Whole Foods don't sell guns...
Exactly. I thought someone might bring up the "dress code" issue. It doesn't bother me much when a business posts only 30.07, that's their preference, but when it's a gun store they are essentially fighting against our mutual cause.Abraham wrote:Half Price Books or Whole Foods don't sell guns...
