It's going to be an extension of the week for me, so not too bad.SA-TX wrote:Looking forward to everything except the very early get up time.

What a GREAT day on the range!!!
I'm still tired! I had an absolute blast (pun intended) and look forward to the next one!SA-TX wrote:Yes it was. HOT but great. I know I'm going to sleep well tonight.Bitter Clinger wrote:And here is one pretty happy group of trained up TXCHL Forum shooters from North Texas:

Likewise! Not sure what we might do next, as I mentioned I think I will put another survey out there and see what folks prefer.TexasJohnBoy wrote: I'm still tired! I had an absolute blast (pun intended) and look forward to the next one! Thanks for organizing it, Bitter Clinger!

I have the same issue, and I'm not using my weak hand appropriately. I need to make sure to keep my weak hand tilted forward, thumbs both straight, and my left palm firm on the gun.SA-TX wrote:rtschl wrote:Had an awesome time yesterday with this group! Phil and Cesare did a great job.![]()
Top takeaway for me: I'm squeezing my whole gun hand and not just my trigger finger. This causes my gun to dip low and left. When just target shooting this doesn't happen as much because I'm slow and deliberate for maximum accuracy. Drawing on command and shooting the correct number and series of targets, as instructed, takes away that crutch. This is an excellent discovery. While it wasn't bad enough to cause misses at self-defense distances, it needs to be corrected.
