Another great video from The History Guy. Watch till the end where you really see his passion. He also includes the effort under way to preserve the Old Lady.

Good video!
BTW, my son and I have donated to the fund to help restore the Battleship Texas.
We have a piece of steel from the ship that is cut into the shape of the state of Texas and a ball bearing from one of the anti aircraft guns platform, with certificate of authenticity for each.
If you can, please make a donation.
My dad took me to visit the Texas decades ago, he has now passed.
A few years ago I took my son to visit the Texas, just before they closed it for restoration.
All good memories!

I first saw the grand old lady about 1948 while we were stationed at Fort Sam Houston.
Took my own kids to see her in 1980.

I watched that just yesterday, and then I watched the Magellan video on Operation Dragoon that he referenced.

My father landed in southern France as part of Operation Dragoon, after having fought in Africa, Sicily and Italy.

Thanks for pointing this out. I bought a paperweight to support them, and think that I got a great deal.
