Anybody heard yet of a Texas entity venturing into silencer making? Obviously terrible timing due to raw materials shortages due to COVID, but is everybody just "rolling their own" or are there entrapreneuers geared up and turning anything out? I checked my usual "sources" in the North Texas area and it's all silent on the North-Eastern front.
One pawn shop I regularly troll looking for a gem in the rough; owner says he had a couple of guys in looking to sell him Fram oil filters with soldered on threaded collars.
He said they wanted $85. for them. (spray painted battleship grey) .. OH, and he said one of the guys offered to "do a demo for him out back". I told him to be sure to get that video on his camera phone next time.
