black powder SBR?

If you had a cap and ball revolver, and attached a buttstock to it like Lee Van Cleef in A Few Dollars More, would it come under regulation by the ATF? Or any Texas law?

No. You have to look hard but there are shoulder stocks out there. Only a few models and the Colt 1860 Army seems to be the most common.
