I have tried the last 4 days leaving messages and emails but not so much as a peep. I was supposed to take his 4 day advanced classes that started today. I have a problem with someone not returning my calls after this much time. However on his defence if he has had an emergency of sorts I could understand. Anyway I am signed up with Tactical Response in October 20-23 in Bastrop.

I just took the Tactical Pistol II Thursday and Friday of this week. He answered an email of mine late Wed. night confirming my attendance. Don't know about your situation.

This class (Tactical Pistol II) is the third class I have taken with Brian.

I have learned a lot in each class. As always safety was the top priority.

We covered:
Safety
Range rules
The concept of sights on slack up (SoSu).
Trigger and breath control
Layered defense
The concept of second sight, and front and rear scanning after the fight.
Speed and tactical reloads.
Various repeated shooting drills: from distances of CQB to 25 yards
Timed shooting from pistol ready at various distances.
Timed shooting from the draw at various distances.
Shooting from support positions at distances out to 25 yards.
Shooting from different positions: squat, high and low kneeling, prone and roll- over prone.
Safe recovery from these positions.
Shooting from cover of various types.
Shooting while moving laterally and as well as while moving forward and backward.

If you are interested a debrief of the course, as well as the Tactical Pistol III course which I did not take, along with pictures should be posted soon on this web site.
