Today, February 23, 2023, marks the 187th anniversary of the siege of Alamo. The siege lasted 13 days. In 1836, a leap year, this included February 29. 2023 is not a leap year. While we celebrate March 6 as the end of the battle, March 7 marks the 13th day this year.
