I'm back (for a bit)

Some of you here might recognize my name. I used to run The Old Cannon Armory. Had to shut it down in 2017, unfortunately. Anyway....I'm mostly back now to offload a bunch of personal reloading equipment, guns, ammo, and powder. I hadn't planned on that, but I discovered I had cancer about a year ago and, as I'm about to enter my 4th major surgery, I realized that most hospitals and doctors prefer to be paid with money, instead of ammo or guns. Go figure. I'm still keeping a few, but I have way too many safe queens (including a rare STI Marauder that was made by STI for the 2014 TX Multigun match)

Anyway, keep an eye out for my listings to pop up over the next week or so. I probably have a little something for everybody :)

Obligatory gun question: Anyone have a good source for subsonic 38 spl ammo, or should I start planning to roll my own?

I recognize the moniker. Welcome back. Sorry for your medical travails and praying you overcome them. Prayers for your upcoming surgery as well.
BTW did you have a different screen name at one time?

Welcome back, sorry to hear about the cancer. I’d roll your own 38 subs - not sure I have seen any for sale.

First, I’m sorry you’re having to deal with the cancer. I wish nothing but the best for you, and pray that you’ll beat it.

Isn’t pretty much all .38 Special subsonic unless +P pushing a very light for caliber bullet? Rolling your own is all well and good if that’s what you want to do, but pretty much any commercial load is going to meet that requirement by being well under the 1,085 to 1,150 fps (depending on temperature) threshold for subsonic.
