I have received 11 notifications from the ATF since the middle of November, 9 of whice have been since December 23. I only got 12 for the entire year of 2023. Maybe the illegal aliens are arming up to wage war on the deportation forces Trump is putting in place.

The cartels are making bold organized crime thefts:

Mexican drug cartels are behind the surge in retail thefts (2023)
Mexican cartels are quietly expanding their global criminal empires to include mass theft operations targeting big-box stores, luxury retail brands, and small businesses, then selling the stolen goods online and laundering the profits through Chinese brokers.
These organized theft rings are not merely shoplifters — they are part of a larger band of criminals that has infiltrated every state.
The nation’s largest retail lobbying group, the National Retail Federation, said stores and retailers reported that the number of organized retail crime incidents increased by an average of 26.5% between 2020 and 2021.
Would not be surprised that the cartels are also stealing guns

I saw a story, out of Ohio I believe, where 4 or 5 gun stores were broken into by the same group of thieves. The perps weren't Mexican gang members.

They send both e-mail and automated phone calls to FFL’s. I’m tired of getting those, I really do not care about thefts in other states. The automated message always states the obvious that any FFL should know - to report stolen guns to the ATF. If any FFL is not aware of that, they need to have their license revoked. Not sure why the ATF sees a need to add that elementary info to their message to FFL’s.

I agree, but it's the government. I got a call at 7 AM yesterday, very annoying.

Dude must have been in DC. Don’t they know that people live in different time zones, and that phoning someone at 7am isn’t just rude, it’s asinine? Do they imagine that you would be open for business at that hour?
