Mexican Nationals arrested transporting 180k rounds of ammo from Utah to Colorado

The media might make a big deal about the amount of ammunition, but that is not the issue, as not a problem if it is a citizen. But with a non immigrant visa I believe prohibited by law and should not have or be able to transport ANY ammunition. It will be interesting if the investigation shows it to be smuggling, gang or cartel related, etc. But the story will likely get buried by the media.
Two Mexican nationals in the U.S. on nonimmigrant visas were arrested during a traffic stop in Colorado last month while transporting 180,000 rounds of ammunition, authorities said Wednesday.
During the traffic stop, the detectives discovered approximately 150 boxes of .308 ammunition and approximately 30 boxes of 7.62 ammunition, officials said. Each box was labeled as containing 1,000 rounds.
