I am currently engaging in a fun little survival shotgun project to keep myself occupied. I am putting together a little kit consisting of an inexpensive single shot/break action 12 Gauge (RIA TK113 20" 12 Gauge) and a .22LR adapter. In keeping with my tradition of buying something, then asking about others experience I just ordered one of these adapters.

$36

Does anyone have any experience with them or any adapters? From YouTube videos they seem to work ok depending on what your expectations are.

I was even contemplating not even getting one and in my next survival situation just carrying my .22LR Heritage Rough Rider revolver w extra .22WMR Cylinder or even my Savage Rascal .22LR in addition to the shotgun. But that would have defeated the purpose of the project. The more Swiss Army knife not good at anything versatility the better.

Not that I need to spend money on any of this at all given all the better options I have at my disposal, why am I like this, I don't know. :cryin

I hope to just get it out of my system once and for all.

Also, for my next project, any recommendations for a bear gun? I need a bear gun. You can never be to prepared. "rlol"

I was looking at .22 Hornets and one was a survival combo of a .22 Hornet and .410 shotgun, both single shot. I don't remember the maker. It looks like an interesting idea though.
