Hi all,
I have a beautiful New-In-Box Bersa Thunder 380 with nickel finish for trade. This gun has never been fired and has NO built in california lock!
I'd like to trade for a Bersa CC or P3AT (something small and light to carry). But straight sale price is $325.00. FTF only, please. Thanks for looking!

What am I missing? Does the lack of the lock increase the value of these? Just curious?

I have one with the lock and just never use it, no big deal for me.
There are people that this will appeal to since they are no longer made without the lock.

Many people are opposed to having locks in their guns as a matter of principle, just like many people are opposed to microstamping. Lets face it, this is Texas, not Cali. We don't need no stinkin' locks!
Also, some Bersas have had functional problems that have been traced directly to the inclusion of locks in the guns. A close friend had this happen to him recently. His Bersa locked up tight and had to be sent back to be fixed by a gunsmith. The gunsmith said the malfunction was the fault of the lock.
No lock, no problem.

He may have cropped it out of the photo, looking very closely that may be what's been done. It's very common to crop serial numbers out of photos you post on the internet.

Yes, I photoshopped the serial out. (I'm a graphic designer - photoshop is my thing) I wanted to show the side that the lock is usually on, and not show the serial. Trust me, it has one. Also, it comes with the box, and one magazine, and the factory test-fired brass.
