As you all know hot weather carry in Texas can take a toll on some firearms finishes. I made this holster mod to combat the problem and wanted to share.
10 bucks for a leather stiching kit and 3 bucks for some scrap calf skin leather at almost any hobby store.
I have used this rig in IDPA and I does not interfere with draw in my case anyway. It also made the firearm much more comfortable to wear as the standard pinching when you move around is eliminated.
In case anyone might think it will work for them,,,there it is
