Sometimes you have to wonder why...

I used to draw pictures of war scenes and other violent incidents going back way into grade school...
It was mostly in a competition with other classmates who when we got together would see who could draw the coolest scenes or images...
The teachers were not involved as far as I can recall, and for the most part the drawing activity alone was fun, as it honed our art skills and interactive relations with others...
I feel this is going too far and that school districts need to butch up and grow up...
If they believe they can curb violent tendencies by censoring or banning certain activities and expression like this...
Well, you only have to look at all the recent school shootings to find that a persons way of expressing themselves is not a big indicator (if anything) to what they actually do in life...
But thats just my opinion...
