Try Grassburr Leather in McKinney http://www.grassburr.com They are really nice folks. He does custom hoslters and belts, and I am pretty sure he makes slings also.

There's an outfit in Abilene called 5-D Custom Hats and Leather located at 742-A Butternut, Abilene, TX. 79603 (325)673-9000. While they have not made a holster for my carry gun, they have made a very nice holster for my large cell phone that I absolutely love. The construction is heavy duty without feeling much weight and they absolutely listened to my needs before setting to work. I highly recommend these guys. Turn around is about 2-4 weeks. They will also carve, stamp, or line any leather they work with per the customer's reqeust. I can't say enough about these guys.

(They will need your particular gun while moulding the leather to fit it, though. SO you might need to use your back up weapon for a while.)

What are you looking for. Got a pic? I play around with leather. Here's two holsters I made for myself.
