Very nice condition. According to SCSW, manufacturing date for this .357 Magnum revolver is 1978.
S/N N4910xx. Six inch barrel, pinned and recessed, very nice bluing. I have taken it to the range exactly once since I bought it in April 07. Shoots very well. No box or papers.
New Year's resolution: If I don't carry it or shoot it regularly, it has to go.
$500, prefer DFW area FTF. Email me for pics...orionengnr at yahoo dot com. Or meet me at Bass Pro in Grapevine and test-drive it....but if you do, you will buy it. :)

I haven't seen this gun, but I have a 3 1/2" Mod. 27 and they are sweet revolvers! To me, they are part of the "golden era" of S&W revolvers.

Sorry about that, it is a .357 Magnum--I edited the original post as well.
Thanks for bringing this to my attention. :)

I'd like this to go to a TXCHL forum member, but I have seen no interest.
I will be posting it on SWforum, maybe THR/TFL soon.
Last chance!

Is it a 27-no dash, or a 27-2?

Yes, I'm going to miss it. On the other hand, I'm glad it got to stay in Texas. :)
Great buyer, smooth transaction. Thank you, sir.
