Hello everyone! Newbie here palying the waiting game too. I found this forum about a week ago and love it so far. Anyone else here from Lubbock?

My brother and I are both Tech grads, so we have a certain fondness for the place. My brother probably more than I; he's a reall small-town type and doesn't like D/FW, which I currently call home. Lubbock's a nice quiet place to live, and if high-tech businesses ever started opening offices there it'd be a great place to work, but the main careers there involve the university, the hospital, and the cotton co-op; not a big market for much else besides restaurant/bar workers.
