I bought a High Noon tuckable IWB holster when I started carrying. I almost just bought the IWB but figured the tuckable would give me the added option. Most of the time I use it with a cover garment, and I have to say this thing is comfortable for all day wear. I have only used it few times with a shirt tucked in and find myself a little more self-conscience when wearing this way.

I keep telling myself that only a very trained eye (LEO or another CHL) would know what he was seeing if he happened to spot the belt clip even with my shirt bloused a little. But, I can't help but be a little more self-conscience. I

Anybody out there wear tuckables? Anybody worry about the "belt clip thing" showing? Am I eing paranoid?

That's an excellent question. I've been wondering the same thing, since I have a tuckable IWB on order.

I tried a tuckable for a little while. I have one but have never really had the NEED to tuck. As far as worry about being made because of the clips, it never was an issue w/ me. Put it on, cover it up, leave it alone & go about your business. No one knows.

When I replaced my holsters' kydex clips with homemade brass ones, I went for two days carrying with those bright shiny brass clips on my black Wilderness belt and dark pants before I got ahold of some Brass Black, and the only person who said a word was the dealer I had asked for advice on making the clips.

I'll, sometimes, use a Crossbreed Supertuck for the Kahr P45 that I carry. "J" hook belt clips "show" less than the "D" loops. The Crossbreed is supplied with both the J and the D hooks which one can change at discretion.

Also, farther in the past, I used a FIST Kydex tuckable. It revealed very little of the weapon's presence as well.

Of the two, the Crossbreed conceals better.

BYW, in the environment in which I work, people never look at my belt area. They're always scanning my name tag.

Although I suspect that belt clips wouldn't even register to 99% of the population, it still bugged me when I used J-Clips with my C-TAC holster, which is an IWB tuckable. Plus, the J=clips did move around a bit. I also think the C-clips and J-clips stand out when wearing dress belts with suits, more so than with casual clothes.

So I ordered some "V-clips," which are held in place between the belt and the pants with velcro. They do not show below the belt (if you adjust them correctly); they show only where they go over the top of the pants, and even the slightest blousing of the shirt covers these.

You do have to put a strip or two of the fuzzy loop side of velcro on the inside of your belt -- some belt suppliers stitch these in, but I just superglued strips on the inside of my belts. Once in awhile a corner starts to come loose and I glue it down again, but otherwise this has worked well.

I find the V-clips to be FAR more secure and stable than any of the C-clips, J-clips, or other belt attachment mechanisms. All of the others would shift around to some degree. And the V-clips don't show.

I've used a tuckable in the past with a NAA Guardian and a Kahr CW9. Both were very concealable and comfortable but lacked the shirt guard feature which I like allot.
