Wild speculation / questions
If our side wins the "Keep" argument
Do you think it will have any affect on the 1968 GCA and the ability for Felons to "Keep" arms?
Do you think it will affect the Lautenberg amendment?

My Wild Prediction: No and No. The SCOTUS decision will not strike down any laws other than the DC ban.

About felons... no way. Voting is held as a much more individual right than guns are currently and felons are still barred from voting.
Lautenberg... not in the short term. It might enhance the scrutiny needed to apply it in the future or maybe even be the basis for something overturning it until a more narrowly worded bill can be written, but I bet nothing changes on that in the immediate future if ever (due to this ruling either way).

No and no, but I'm hopeful for more.
but, I also believe it opens the door just a crack, and could lead to other court decisions eventually forcing things our way.

I don't know how I missed this, but the time for arguments has been set: Tuesday, March 18, at 10:00 a.m.

How hard do you think it will be to :
1) Listen in person
2) Listen to a recording?

No way I will be in DC to listen in person. I might just listen to a recording ASAP though.

If I thought I could get in the door, I'd spend my vacation in DC in a heart beat.

I forecast a major increase in the articles and news stories on guns, using all the typical fear inducing jargon.
