Ruger Mini-30 -- SOLD

I am considering selling my Ruger mini-30 (I will be considering it until its either sold or I have another rifle in the safe. The gun is a Stainless steel unit with a serial # 197-032xx which puts the guns production in around 2003. I have fired less than 60 rounds through it, The fellow I got it from said it has had less than 500 rounds before then. As it is I don't shoot it much as I have other guns that are "more fun" than it. Another reason I am selling this gun is the safety makes me nervous (Your finger has to be inside the trigger guard to release it).

The gun comes with the original magazine and stock, a Thumb hole stock, two twenty round metal magazines, one thirty round metal magazine, one 30 round polymer magazine, and has an NC Star 3-9x40 scope mounted on it. The polymer mag has never failed myself or the previous owner.

Regarding FTF transactions: I prefer a FTF transaction and will through in whatever 7.62x39 ammo I have (50 Rounds at this time) to anyone who buys it FTF. I will also show you how to field strip the rifle if you do not know how.

Regarding non-FTF transactions: I will ship to your FFL provided you send me a copy of their FFL with payment, however we will need to negotiate shipping.

Picture below shows the gun, scope, extra stock, twenty and thirty round mags. The original 5 round magazine is not completely pictured (Its partially visible to the right of the gun a little above the stock.

You can view a picture at http://gaheath.com/mini30.jpg (dial up beware).

EDIT TO ADD: I am tentatively asking $600 (negotiable) for this gun and everything with it.

ROFL, I forgot to put the price in, edited it to add and noticed your post after submitting the price. Also I am in Seminole and/or Seagraves Texas most of the time. I am willing to take it as far as Lubbock or Midland/Odessa if I have other business there when someone wants to meet.

AS I posted in the post prior to yours I am in Seagraves and Seminole (Work in one and live in the other), I am currently not interested in an XTR at this time, it is however tempting. I do have a potential buyer on friday and another meeting on Saturday with a takeoff upper for an AR he thinks I may be interested in. There is also a gun show in Odessa this weekend I may pay a visit to..

You might check this schedule. http://www.therallypoint.org/forum/inde ... opic=942.0

I think the next gunshow is Midland Feb 2nd. http://www.silverspurgunshows.com/show-schedule.htm

But if you just want to come down anyway and sell me a carbine, I'll take it.

Thanks for the heads up! I know to check that site. Just didn't, duh..

My full time stuff is going to have me real scattered, and i have no control over it. I might be east of Midland or halfway to Crane.

My first real free day will be Sunday. If you make a good deal in the meantime go for it. I was sure the Mini 30 was a 30-30. So, i will need more info before decide for sure. But being a stainless Ruger, has a definite appeal.

The mini 30 is a 30 caliber rifle. It shoots the 7.62x39 round also used in the SKS and AK47 type rifles. I have every intention of being in Odessa Sunday (Gunshow) if your still interested. BTW, both buyers have called since my last post. one buyer had to back out (his wife says no, No, NO, What part of NO do you not under stand?) and the other may not even be in West Texas for another month due to work.
