45/70 vs 458 socom

hi,
I like big holes made by slow moving lead.
Does anyone have knowledge about .458 socom pistol. 
I currently load 45/70 Gov in blackpowder or H4895 for a Sharps 1874. . The .458 SOCOM is the same bullet as the 45/70 but different case. I know about the Research BMF 45/70.
Watch your six.
