I will be making a short day trip to Houson this weekend and if time permits I would like to look at a few holsters.
Can any of the members in the Houston area recommend a shop with a good selection of holsters in stock, that is located on 290 somewhere between Hempstead and Loop 610?

Collector's Firearms on I-10 near Gessner. I don't know what kind of holster assortment they have. You can call them and ask.

Gander Mtn. on 290 @ Fm 1960 and an Academy on the other side of 290 @ 1960. I don't think either one has many holsters. Jim Pruett's is real light on holsters. I'm sorry to have bad news, but it's the truth. You need to find a Gun Show!
Good Luck, OE

I have never been in the Collector's Firearms at I-10 and Gessner but the one at Fondren and Richmond carries a pretty good selection. Assume their I-10 and Gessner store would do the same.
Might be worth a call before going there.

Jim,
I've only been to their original store and the link you provided makes no mention of the I-10 store.
Also, Smartpages.com only finds the Fondren location.
Is this something very new?

Aargh! I had a mental flatulence episode. I was thinking of Carter's Country on I-10. I'm sorry about that.
