Waiting and a question

Submitted application on 18 Dec. In the mean time I tried to get an answer to the following e-mail I sent To Virginia:

"I obtained my Virginia Concealed carry resident permit while assigned to Portsmouth as an Active Duty Coast Guard Member and at the time held a Texas Drivers License.

I recently moved back to Texas and I am in the process of applying for a Texas Concealed Permit which is a 90 day process.

The Texas Department of Public Safety has indicated that if Virginia still considers my concealed handgun permit valid then I am allowed to carry in Texas under the reciprocity agreement between Texas and Virginia.

My Question for you is:

Based on the fact that I obtained my permit from Virginia while a resident of Texas but serving as an active duty member of the armed forces and, other then moving out of the state I have no other factors which would disqualify me from carrying a handgun, do you still consider my concealed permit to be valid?

Thank You

Richard Graham
Permit# CM06000503"

No answer ever received from Virginia. What do you all Think?

Does your Virginia license have your current Texas address on it?

If so, I would think it is a valid non-resident Virginia license and you can use it as such.

Does the address on your Virginia license match your Texas driver license?

I don't know what the Viginia law is, but typically a license does not automatically beome invalid unless you are charged with a crime.
