Bought Gurkha IWB holster Sept. 2006 - very fast delivery.
Broke plastic belt clip about 8 months later, very fast warranty repair turnaround. This is the clip that is affixed to the holster "body", not on the leather strut. If it were not the one directly on the holster I would have just bought a couple spares, no problem.
Broke same belt clip again a couple weeks ago, "fixed" with Super Glue and JB Weld - not happy with myself but best I could do at the time. E-mailed Comp-Tac about "upgrading" the Gurkha to a CTAC; received reply the same day: can do, send it back.
Sent it last Saturday, received it back fixed (upgraded) today, Thursday. Can't get any faster than that, USPS does not deliver on Sunday, so they probably got it Monday, fixed it, and sent it back either Tuesday or yesterday. Remarkable.
CTAC configuration is much better, adjustable cant and better clips. Also, if I break the clips I can make some from spring steel - they are held by screws to the leather struts, not affixed to the holster body at all.
Much as I never say anything nice to or about about anybody, this time I have to say Comp-Tac is tops. I may be pitiful, being so grateful that people simply did what they said they would do, quickly and correctly, but there it is. Thanks Comp-Tac.
Regards,
Andrew
