First things I ask are was it clean & properly oiled?
Is it brand new & needs 400 rds through it to break it in?

EAAs are nice peices. Make sure you cleaned all the grease they put on them at the factory and oil it very lightly. Lunchbox is right about the break in. Also, I like to take a Dremmel wheel to the ramp and polish it. Sometimes there are a few rough parts on the surface and with a little polish, they will smooth right out. Check your magazine and make sure it is clean and very lightly oiled as well as the spring. If the spring is weak, try stretching it out a little before you put the magazine back together. Hope that helps. Welcome to the room.

+1 for the Texas City range. It is a long drive from our area but worth it. Very well run. Very friendly too.
