I'm looking at getting a Comp-Tac Pro Undercover holster - any reviews on it? If you've used it let me know... I like the looks of it!

I use it and really like it. Easy on/off, stable and a fast draw. A very well made piece.

I called Comp-Tac about a month ago, intending to order a Pro Undercover, but JB told me they were trying to phase out that model and recommended the CTAC because it has two clips securing it to your belt rather than the single clip.
I've been happy with the CTAC so far. It, and my CZ 75 D compact 9, ride very nicely between 3:30 and 4:30, depending on what else I'm doing (which car, etc). Also bought a double mag carrier, plus a "Diva" and double mag carrier for DW's 1911.
The holster is comfortable, but not to the point of forgetting it's there (which I prefer -- if I'm carrying, I want that fact to never leave my conscious mind). Intend to try it for IDPA when the opportunity presents itself.

I have a comp tac pro undercover for my compact 1911,the only thing i didn't like is it has no sweat shield so your gun can ride against your skin and if you sweat i had a rust problem occurred.so i took some stiff plastic and a rivet gun and made a shield for it then i glued some sheep skin on it for that soft feeling.

I've got two Pro Undercovers & an Infadel from them & they are easily the best kydex holsters I have ever used. Great customer service & a Texas based company too!

I've bought a Pro Undercover for every gun that I carry IWB, and I wear one every day. I love them.

I know its not the undercover holster but I can give you a review of the MTAC made by Comp-Tac. The link is in my signature. Either way its a great company to do buisness with.

I've spent big bucks on custom gunleather, which I was ultimately unhappy with (and so was the guy I ended up selling it to) - I made my own holster for my Kel-Tec P11, and liked it well enough, but figured I'd give kydex a try. Enter the Comp-Tac Pro Undercover. $50, and I couldn't ask for more from a holser. It stays put, has excellent retention, but does not slow my draw at all. I'm a few clicks away from ordering another one for my 1911.

You will like it for the 1911 too.
All my IWB holsters are Kydex. I have one of the C-T Infidel's Mine is set up w/ the belt loops but I have the clip & the Gurkha rear strut. It stays put & as you said does not slow the draw.
Cant go wrong w/ a C-T any design.

Do the Pro Undercover holsters have the sweat shield? Dukalmighty's post says his doesn't, but the picture on the Comp-Tac website sure looks like it does.

Hey Bill...The slide and the frame are protected, the grip is not. I'll take some pictures that will show it better than the website.
