I couldn't bear to post any response in a real thread! It hurt my soul! Vic, I googled him too, since you did, just to check it out. That guy CAN'T be for real! I laughed so hard I almost fell out of my chair! I took a break from real work because I needed a laugh, and he delivers every time, whether he means to or not! Another forum even put up an "Ask Gecko45" thread! For safety's sake, maybe we should put a ban on anyone who tries to use "Gecko" in their screen name here. I'd hate to see him show up here!

I read that too. What a loser. It's my sincerest hope that this guy was just pulling everyone's leg and is not a real person. I can imagine some mall manager tolerating his tacti-cool ways.

Yeah, it made me laugh too! Multiple hits from a .308! Even if it didn't penetrate the plates and vest, I think blunt force trauma would be his next worry! It would turn his insides into internal organ stew!

can you see a mall security with a MP5 or M-4 ?? or the other type of weapons that he was talking about and you see where he is on a Tac team how many malls do you know of that have a SWAT.

Yeah...After reading the whole thing, I'm convinced it was all a troll. It was passably believable for awhile, but the posts near the end are really reaching. The tone has so much feigned earnestness that it dives straight into the realm of over-acting.

The poster known as Gecko45 is a brilliant satirist. The sad part is that his satire --like all comedy-- has roots in the truth. Has there ever been a gun forum that didn't have a mall ninja who wrote similar things -- except they mean it?

I lost it after the whole "spring into action" post...

Gunkid was a nefarious poster on several forums until his apparent demise after a felony violation in Oklahoma. Not sure of his status these days (or current address. Maybe a federal prison.)
