Is there any one in fort worth, North Richland hills, Keller or the surrounding area that can do fingerprints for me. I have 2 blank cards to do them. When i took my class my instructor smudged them horribly and refused to redo them.

Why did your instructor refuse to redo them?

he said they were fine but i dont want to take the chance ... almost every print is smudged above the swirl. the whole card looks like garbage.

I dont think he wanted to use 2 more cards personaly

Can you either post or PM me the instructor name. Will be looking for one soon and want to avoid one with bad service.

You should be able to get printed at just about any local police station, sheriff or constable's office. They'll probably charge you 10 bucks.

Keller PD, $10, no waiting

Don't want to minimize the seriousness of your concern - bad fingerprints can cause some serious delays in processing paperwork, but I had the same response when I asked if I could have my picture re-taken. Response was "It's good enough" even though it looks very little like me and nothing like my DL photo. Didn't experience any delay as a result but it sure was frustrating and not very good customer service.

Tryed to get it done at Haltom City PD and they said no ... sent me to fast but there is a long line to get ti done ... it was like a week wait.

they did mine about 18 months ago.

I know haltom city changed there policy recently ... i hope keller didnt also

I called local DPS and they sent me to local firm that scans the prints onto the cards. they tell me they are 100% and have the capability to forward electronically. I wonder if they forward to multiple agencies if this shortens the time. Don't know what effect this might have had on my turnaround time but it was a lot shorter than most of the stories I have heard. Less than six weeks.

I have heard that the electronic scanned prints are at about 95% acceptance by FBI whereas the standard ink prints are at about 75-80% acceptance rate.

I may have to take you up on that ... I just got a shipment of ammo in and need to use some Give me a good excuse around what time will you be there? I have meetings at noon and again at 2
