Figured I'd Pull Up A Chair

well... took the class back on Feb 2... packet sent the 4th and received the 6th...
still waiting for my PIN...
musta been a lot of us taking the class this year and sending in the packets keeping them really busy...
sure thought i'd have a PIN by now and was hoping for plastic next month...
hope this chair's cushy...

I had visions of a short wait when I sent mine in back in December based on some historical posts I read, but now I just wait....and wait.
Yea, the chair is cushy. Your butt may even grow into it.

emailed for a status update...
received the familar, Your application has not been entered into the system. It is likely
going though the processes required before entry. When a completed
application is entered you will be sent a confirmation letter with your
PIN number...
time to stop watching the calendar...

I have a great big ole' Lazy Boy chair with a couple cup holders.....have a nice long seat.....and relax......

gotta little note in the mail friday... had my hopes up for a PIN, maybe even.... Nah couldn't be that...
it wasn't... apparently i didn't sign one of my photos so they want it signed and returned... oh well... one step closer...

new package in the mail today... thinking that was quick for a PIN after signing that photo and sending it in monday...
NO PIN... gotta redo fingerprint cards...
i think there's a place to do the fast-track in lewisville and one in mckinney... so that's my plan, gonna run by the range
and see if they know where exactly...
wait continues....

PIN received today, May 3rd... 12 weeks after they got my packet... or 63 work days by my count...

Emailed State Rep Hardcastle on the 11th...
Checked status this morning, the 13th of June and found this...
"Application Completed - license issued or certificate active"
Maybe getting the higher powers involved speeds things up
or maybe after 128 days it was bound to be issued... Either way
I'm just waiting on plastic now...

What a wait... Got a call from Jan Coffey while at work today to let me know
it was sent last Friday (13th) and I should receive it this week... I missed the call
but she left all that on voicemail... I expect her to get a thank you call tomorrow...
Empty chair for the next waiting room participant...
