We might could make it to Texas City next Saturday! On Sunday I am flying up to the Upper Pensiula of Michigan to take some customers snowmobiling for a few days.

As far as the gun, Marily already has a Bersa 380 (she does not like to shoot it), and a S&W Lady Smith 38, The last several times we have been going to the range she has been shooting one of my 45 Kimbers but last weekend she started nagging that it was too heavy and kicked too hard so she said "I want a 22" so I bought her one

I just came back from an indoor range, I went to try them out a bit. The Walther shoots fine but the grouping I had with the Sigma looked like shotgun splatter  Maybe we can meet up next Saturday and you can try it out and let me know if it's me or the gun :?:

Nice... I like the P22 as a plinker and take it hunting with me a lot. I looked for one of the little lasers from Walther at the show today, but couldn't find one.

I didn't find the super terrific pistol deal that i was looking for, so i only picked up a don hume pocket holster and some cleaning supplies. It was fun to walk around the show though. Maybe i'll win that M1 Garand from the raffle at the front door. :)

Sounds good to me...if you don't mind, I would love to let Kimberly shoot the Lady Smith...I have toyed with the idea of getting her a revolver. So far she has claimed my Ruger P95 and I would like to nip it in the bud before she takes a liking to my Sig or Glock!! I will PM you some contact info and hopefully if I get off of work on time Saturday we can meet around 2 or so? Take care and I will talk to you later in the week.

About all I got was a few boxes of Speer Gold Dots in .357 SIG.
I bought the 50 round boxes for $18/box . The guy had 20 rd Gold Dot boxes for $15. Go figure. Looks like the same ammo.

BTW, this is the ammo that DPS uses. I just picked a SIG P226R DAK trigger in .357 SIG. It came in late Saturday. Happiness is a new gun !

I thought it was a decent show, but not great. Crowd was pretty good though. I had tables where we handed out flyers for our classes. Interest was pretty strong for potential new licensees.

They are 125 grain and out of a 4"+ barrel they run at about 1375 fps.
TX DPS loves them.

I trying to get some 125 gr Remington Golden Sabers in 357 SIG. For some reason they only sell them through their LE division. Hopefully I can get the full story as to why at the SHOT show next month.

Butt ugly but eeevil  Romanian WASR-10 AK. I'm too ashamed  to post a photo of it without a bag or a flag. No chance to shoot it yet.

I had the opportunity to shoot one of the Springfield 1911 9mm pistols and really enjoyed it. It is not everyday that you run across a single stack 9mm of any quality! If I was not currently recovering from a 9MM addiction, and wanted to sleep on the couch for the next year......I would buy one!!

Good to know, I've read a lot of good stuff about them. I like the fit and feel, but don't know much about 1911's. I did get a chance to run a couple of mags through it and it shot nice. I look forward to running a lot of ammo through it, (if I can keep it away from my wife).
