Attempted robbery gets weird

This happened in Baltimore yesterday:
1. Anonymous Mr. X attempts to rob one Roland Scott with a shotgun.
2. Scott pulls a dummy pistol and wrestles shotgun away from X.
3. Scott forces X to strip and takes $800 from X.
4. Scott beats X with shotgun stock and demands more money (from a naked man).
5. Shotgun discharges, killing Scott.
6. X goes to hospital for treatment of a minor injury, and confesses to police.
