Why does time seem to slow down after you mail your packet off?
I'm doing my best to just forget about it, but I'm not winning the battle.

It's part of the leftist plan for waiting periods to exercise basic human rights.

Try twiddling your thumbs every once in a while. It takes your mind off the clock and calendar.
Works for me!

Go to the range. Make noise, and holes in targets. Then clean your gun(s).
May not make time go any faster, but it's fun and relaxing.

For me it was mindnumbingly horrible...I swear to each and every one of you friends that I checked DPS' website like 5 times a day to see if it was approved yet. Called em like 5-10 times to make sure that they didn't forget about me and so on. Now granted, for me it was a little tougher because the neighborhood I work in is a high-crime area. I used to go to work in fear every day, but as of 3 or 4 weeks ago (when my plastic came in) I have no more fear. As an applicant who survived the process, I want to let you all know that your license IS COMING, and that you will spend much more time with that thing in your wallet than you will waiting for it! Stay safe and good shooting everybody!
