This is the best prayer corner I know of, so here we go.
I had an injury to my back when arresting a suspect in 1982. Every once and a while it will flare up and goes away. Not really a big deal. WELL TODAY getting ready for Church I think it has fallen apart. I am almost unable to move at all. I was not able to attend Church (I Pastor) and I am in excruciation pain. My low back, hip, and right leg are in terrific pain. I am a very large man thus making more difficult to move around. I would appreciate all of the prayers I could receive at this time.
Sincerely,
Carl

Will do Carl.
I am familiar with lower back pain. It can be absolutely crippling at times.
I pray for your relief and recovery.
Flint.

Carl, I hope it is nothing serious and just a bit of muscle pain by twisting the wrong way.
My prayers are with you and I hope you are better soon!

Will certainly pray.
From your description, your low back pain sounds very similar to what I experience.
While prayer is certainly effective, I've also found that a good chiropractor can work wonders, as well. My back had seized up a day or two before my very first visit with my chiropractor (the pain usually lasts close to a week, gradually decreasing each day), and I left his office almost completely pain free.

Thinking about you and praying here! On a side note. I just want you to know, I always enjoy your posts! It's always nice to hear from you. You and LT make me think of the preacher on "The Patriot" when he picks up his gun and tells the congregation, "A shepherd must tend his flock... And at times, fight off the wolves." If I weren't all the way across the state, I'd love to attend either one of your churches! With prayers and support, I'm sure you'll be back on your feet in no time, hang in there!

Ouch!! I do know just how much that hurts! You are in my prayers, and your family as well.
I have a LOT of back and leg pain. If it is from a muscle spasm, you can drink an alcohol beverage ... doesn't matter what, and I couldn't advise, as I don't know a lot about them, but DH will buy me one, if I hurt. Within a few minutes, the alcohol will relax the tense muscles. It is best, if you can drink your drink and get immediately into a very hot bath, as hot as you can stand it. Soak for awhile, then go to bed and put a heating pad on the painful part, and go to sleep. That usually helps me a lot. If you are taking muscle relaxers or pain meds, don't drink. If you aren't on any drugs, the alcohol and hot water works faster and has fewer side effects.
May God guide you to the right Dr. and meds for your pain.
