Milt Sparks OWB

Do you guys/girls know which model offers the most cant? I would like something that is pretty agressive in that department and it is very difficult to see from the MS website.

I know I could call them, but that would just make someone else's wait three minutes longer......when it is already six months.

Thanks.

At one time, I believe they would put build most models with a range of cant, but I'm not sure. It's just a matter of pulling a different pattern off the rack. I don't know how fast or slow they are returning emails, so you might try that.

Does this have something to do with your current educational activities?

Chas.

Yes...well, for when the school activities are over. IWB is great if the shirt is not tucked in.....but why not have a nice Milt Sparks for style :biggrinjester: I have a Biachi one that I picked up very used and cheap, but it has a retention strap.

I have been in the market for a quality OWB holster......likely pancake style and have decided now is a good time to get the order in.

I will send them an email. Thanks.

Tucker has had a 4 week turn around time for me this year.

Cool....I actually spoke with Rob yesterday. Nice fellow.

I have been wearing one Milt Sparks or another for the last couple of years and really like them. However, I would like to try some of Tuckers OWB on to see how they fit.

I do have to admit.....Tucker holsters are beautiful (except for "The Answer).

This just came up on the Milt Sparks website:

We have now reached the order quota for the month of April 08 and have ceased taking orders as of Tuesday 4/15/08. We will once again resume taking orders on the first business day of May until the order quota for that month has been reached.

We are now operating on a monthly quota system in an effort to keep our backlog from getting any worse than it has been. Details of this new policy are available for review by clicking here.

As for the cant, I believe the Nelson Legacy has about the most forward tilt, but not sure.

Good luck!

I've had great experience with my Galco Combat Master. It has an FBI cant, and no retainer strap. If you're looking for something real fancy, Galco has a special edition holster called the Royal Deluxe that appears to have a nice cant to it as well. Here's a link:

They've also got them in stock (in black) and Galco's backorder time is considerably better than many other manufacturers.

There's a maker here in N. TX that makes the most canted holsters I have ever seen. He sets up at all the local gun shows and it's high quality leather.
