I'm headed to the instructors class next month. From the schedule the final is an hour long. Do you need to study prior to the course or is it like the CHL class where if you pay attention you know the material? What was your experience taking the course? Any good tips and do's or don'ts?

It's very much like the CHL exam. If you stay awake and pay attention, you'll do fine.

You'll review before the exam, so if you're unclear on any of the material, that's your chance to ask questions and clarify.
