Human Predator Training

Most everyone gets a CHL to protect themselves and their family members. I always try to share experiences with members of this forum on how they can better prepare themselves to do that, or perhaps provide an insight into how LE might approach a certain situation.
I'm going to provide a link to a newspaper article and news station video that will do more to show exactly what type of animals exist in our society than I could ever do with my own words. We deal with these types every day in Dallas and don't you for a minute ever mistakenly believe that these have just got to be an aberration - that there couldn't possibly be others like this out there. Trust me - there are thousands of more just like them in Dallas, and all over Texas.
When you read the story and see the video you will probably catch yourself thinking about what you would have done if you were in the shoes of the two murder victims. When you watch the Animal Channel or National Geographic, and it shows all the lions and hyenas stalking prey, that's no different than what these type of human predators do. Be careful and always be prepared.

WARNING!! - The following link will take you to a FOX 4 video that is uncut and full of profanities! If you are offended by this type of language DO NOT click on the following link -

Also, there have been several posts on this forum asking about how safe it is to ride DART - this should serve as a reminder as to who exactly your fellow passengers might be.

Thanks for posting this. As CHL/LEO said, this video has a lot of profanity, but it's a valuable look into the mind of a human predator. Take CHL/LEO's warning to heart folks; this man is not a rarity. I had a young legal assistant that was gorgeous and equally naive about the dangers she faces in a big city like Houston. She laughed when I told her that there are a dozen men within a one mile radius of our office that would rape and kill her, if they had the opportunity. I hope she doesn't learn the hard way.

I could not agree more.....there are people like this everywhere and many people choose to live in denial about it. They care more for the gum stuck to their shoe than human life.
I watched an interview with the Wife of the studio owner....she is am amazing and strong woman. The young man that was killed is the Father of a very young child. I will definitely keep them in my prayers.

My hackles rose just looking at that video.
It is sad that there are more of these animals out there. My situational awareness will be increased as I drive home from work today.

Charles - perhaps you can send her the link to this video.
Also, pay particular attention to the end of the video where he tells the reporter to "look into his eyes". They say that the eyes are the pathway to the soul and I believe it. There is no way that you can get a true glimpse into his eyes from this video but if you were sitting across from him you would see nothing but emptiness - there would be no life in his eyes.
Most of you will never have the opportunity (thank goodness) to look into eyes of a killer like this but if you ever do you won't forget it. You'll get this strange feeling that something just isn't right - that's your mind trying to warn you.
About four years ago I was walking by one of our juvenile holding cells and looked in and saw this same look on a young boy that appeared to be about 13 or 14 years old. I went over and asked the detective what he was being held for and the answer was he had raped and sliced up a lady leaving her for dead. There was no hope for that young man. Even at his young age there is no way he would ever have been rehabilitated or made into a contributing member of society.
There are thousands more just like him out there and the person in this video was telling the reporter that's exactly how his life has been.

Thank you for the post.
And thank you for your service.
These were criminals with nothing to live for, and who not only would kill you for $2, but did murder two men for $2, even after they had defeated them.
This criminal claims he wants to die because he cares nothing for anyone even himself.
We cannot even repeat here what he said to, or about, the families of the two men he murdered. Suffice it to say that he dismissed the families in the most graphic way.
It's awful to see -- but a lesson that anyone with a CHL or anyone who favors gun control should view, repeatedly.

yep yep yep, seen many a guy just like that walking the halls of texas prison. And for every 1 behind bars there's an exponential number out walking around.
I sent a link to that video out to most of my friends as a remind of why it's important to "carry 24/7 or guess right"
you know what i'm sayin?

Maybe later, I can post my thoughts on this. Right now, I just need to go throw up.

The American public, as a whole, knows more about what happened on Big Brother or UFC last night than they know about what is going on in the real world. The only thing sadder than that is, THEY JUST DON'T GIVE A HOOT! The stresses of everyday life have become too much of a hassle for us here in the land o' the free.
We have slipped to the point where we have forgotten that freedom is not just given away, it is EARNED. We have been fed more and more junk to keep us placated over the years so the crooks can run amok without us putting up much, if any, fight. It's time to WAKE UP AMERICA!
Crime like this is happening more and more. I hear about it everyday - in San Antonio...in Dallas...in Houston...

I pray that she doesn't!

I watched this again, and I could tell the emptiness in his eyes. His mug shot is even creepier:

The link to the other video is at your link too-- over on the right.
The second guy, the non-shooter, apparently tried to show some remorse.

he's trying to be tough, too stupid and ignorant to really understand where he's at.
after he goes to the big house, he probably wont last very long. Too arrogant and too young, the hardcore criminals in there will make mincemeat of him. I say good, save some taxpayer money.
and I agree, these types of individuals are a dime a dozen, and anyone who thinks otherwise is as ignorant as this guy.

He'll get charged and convicted (thanks to this and other videos) of Capital Murder so he'll be put on death row - solitary confinement and no interaction with other convicts.
