Kaboomtown

Does anyone know if Addison posts its events such as Kaboomtown or Oktoberfest with a 30.06 posting? I'm planning to go with some friends and would rather keep my gun at home if I'm not allowed to carry there.

Is it city property? If so, a 30.06 notice is not valid.

That would be good to know since I too am going this thing. But as KBcraig said I dont thisk they can leagally post 30.06. Maybe Ill see ya out there.

i was out there for Taste of Addison and did not seeing any signs. it's in the exact same area so I'm guessing no.

I was thinking it was probably city property. I looked on the website and the only contact information I could find for the event was the Town of Addison, so if it's not city property it's certainly being leased by the city for the event, so I do believe we can carry away. I've never seen any 30.06 signs there in the past events but, as I didn't have a CHL then, I really wasn't looking for them.
