Has anyone been able to contact him? I've tried twice now and I never hear back. What kind of recourse do we have if they never respond?

I think in general the ratings get re-done and published just prior to elections. For the NRA you can start here:getusumtx wrote:Kinda off topic...But where does everyone find these TSRA/NRA ratings?
And you do have your member ID handy, right, because you are a NRA member, right?Candidate grades and endorsements for the 2008 General Elections will be available in the Fall. In the meantime, if you have questions about where a Primary candidate stands on our Right to Keep and Bear Arms, please call NRA-ILA's Grassroots division at 800-392-8683 or click here to contact us by email.
For candidate grades and endorsements in previous election cycles, please visit the NRA Members section by clicking here. (You will need your member ID to login.)
I feel like a complete moron now...It just dawned on me that he was Fed and not state...geesh...no wonder he is not answering my emails. I came back here to try to delete this thread before anyone replied...oops. :)seamusTX wrote:You do know he is a U.S. Representative, not a Texas house representative? He is F rated by the NRA-TSRA.
Your recourses if he doesn't communicate is to write a critical letter to the editor and support and vote for someone else.
