The search function will get you a lot of info, but basically, no you can't carry in the post office or on the parking lot.

I am new to the Texas "CHL"......just took my test and mailed in my packet. I took my class at Top Gun in Houston and my instructor said that we definitely CANNOT carry in a Post Office. He said we could not carry in any Federal PROPERTY (parking lots included). He went as far to say......if we go to .......lets say a high rise office building.......if there is even one Federal Government office in that building.........the WHOLE building becomes "No Carry"
Like I said........I just took my class......and could have misunderstood.....but I don't think I did!
