I filled out my online app last night and dropped the packet off at the post office on Guadalupe and 6th where the PO box is. From reading here in the past I thought I remembered hearing anywhere from 1-3 months. Seems like thinks have gotten worse (or maybe I had selective hopefully memory?).
At anyrate w/ the avg of 120 days I read in one thread I wonder if it would be faster to get employed w/ the DPS, get into the application processing department, push mine to the front of the line and then resign
Seriously though, does anyone have any insight as to the long delays? Obviously they're trying to take time and dig up dirt on you but you'd think that would be pretty quick w/ 'dem new fangled computers and what not. Are there really just so many applications they're saturated?
