My concern is that if I tried to use the fork or spoon, I'd either blind myself with the light or shoot the side of my face off.

Okay, I looked. It seems he doesn't have quite enough lights on it. I think I would opt for a couple of more, just in case the need arises.

I understand everything on the weapon except the keys. Perhaps someone could explain them to me.

You come up with a plausible purpose for the bird thing on top of the scope and I'll come up with something for the keys.

It's a decoy. You lure them in then turn on the spotlights.
