On her birthday yesterday, a 37-year-old Milwaukee woman drove the getaway car for her 17-year-old son, who is suspected of one or more armed robberies. She also had children aged 13 months, and 10 and 14 years in the car.

"Police arrested Elmer Taylor and his mom, Angelia Kelly.
“We’re assuming that he was here for mom’s birthday and they decided to do some robberies on mom’s birthday,” Wentlandt said.
Police couldn’t believe who else was along for the ride. Three young children were in the car as well. Kelly’s other kids: a 13-month-old girl and two boys, 10 and 14 years old.
“The young boys are obviously traumatized. The 10-year-old was crying, very upset. All he really wanted was his Batman comic books, but really both of the boys knew exactly what was going on,” Wentlandt said."
Wow. Now that's what I call keeping it "All in the Family"...What a good mom....training all the boys how to rob C-stores.
I guess they were wanting to get mom something good for her birthday!....

Well they got her a nice new shiny matching pair of bracelets...unfortunately they were held together by a pretty strong chain

Unbelievable!
I mean…how did this come about?
17 yr. old: “Hey Mom….Happy Birthday”!
Mom: “Thank you son….”
17 yr. old: “Mom is there anything special you’d like to do for your B-day?”
Mom: “Well…..Son, now that you ask, I was just thinking how much fun it would be if we all went and robbed a gas station”.
17 yr. old: “AWESOME…mom, lets go…!”
Mom: “Be sure and get that blanket over there for the baby”
17 yr. old: “I know….MOM, you don’t have to tell me every time!”

I am sure she is just a product of society, right?
Actually, there is no excuse. No excuse at all.

I don't if there was a day when this kind of thing didn't happen. Anyone remember Ma Barker and her brood?
Google "female bandits" or "women bandits." The results will surprise you.

Another one: Two men commit burglaries in Queens, New York, while the girlfriend of one waits in a vehicle with her infant children.

These folks are brighter than you think (well, maybe cunning).
They spend some time in jail, go on probation and start a life of ease touring the circuit and doing Maury & Jerry Springer interviews.
